Social Media: Online Design Gallery
As a graphic design student, keeping up to date with the latest trends is a constant, challenging task. In this assignment, you will work together with your classmates to curate an online collection of design resources and artists. We will use Flickr to create shared albums featuring key design principles and upcoming trends, use Twitter to share new trends, tools and artists (hash tagging it with design principles), and use Google+ Hangouts as a weekly meeting place to discuss new trends and an artist each week.

Google+ Hangouts
We will be meeting at 9:00pm each Wednesday for 15-20 minutes to discuss a new design artist or trend. You will receive an invitation from the hangout coordinator in your email to join the meetup each week. Each group will be responsible for leading at least one hangout meeting during the semester and will prepare a presentation. This presentation should include at least 1-2 short videos, images and information on the trend.
